Why this PAGE

Death Camps Memorial Site is a website created from passion for history and a difficult topic: Nazi Germans death camps. The website was created on February 10, 2020 and will be successively developed. I create all texts on the site based on historical sources, testimonies of witnesses, books, data from archives and consultations with guides.

I try to write impartially and present facts from the perspective of both the victims and the torturers, bearing in mind that: “The horror of the Holocaust is not that it deviated from human norms; the horror is that it didn't.”

Every now and then, at least once a week, I will try to upload new materials, recommend a book or a movie. Unfortunately, the day has only 24 hours...

You can often find me in museums and former camps, where I share my knowledge as a speaker (Auschwitz, Auschwitz-Birkenau, Treblinka, Sobibór, Bełżec, Majdanek, Chełmno, Stutthof, Gross-Rosen, Theresienstadt (Czech Republic)).

I also give lectures in schools (8th grade/high school/technical school) as a guest and speaker (lectures + multimedia presentations; 45 min/90 min/120 min).

Contact me for any suggestions, questions, trips, lectures. Write an email: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or a message on Facebook.

Thanks to Alicja J., who inspired me to create this site.
Special thanks to my history teacher from technical school, Ms Henryka Limańska.
The site is informative and it is not intended to promote totalitarian regimes in any way.
